Fixed the air in the Mega Cab

I remember it being a tight fit and after finding a bolt that I missed it came out fairly easy. I removed it by myself and just made sure not put a strain on wires or plastic as I worked both sides.

Old thread but, I am working on an 06 megacab. I emailed and got the "wedge door half open and cut pedistal 7/16 inch" I need my truck tomorrow, but wondering if can make a 7/16" longer shaft, and have arm on it like on the blend door. Seems this would work for us with the rear air "extra door"



What do all of you think?

My 06 mega didn't have the extra door. I think the extra doors were only for dual zone controls in the front. IIRC the rear wasnt independent from the front on any of the mega cabs.

My 06 doesn't have dual zone either. I am talking about the small flapper doors for the air outlet under the seats.

I have my shaft spaced to engage the actuator properly, and my split pin is almost at the perfect angle to make a set up like on the mode doors. Will head out later to find what I need, after I get the new drier, etc installed, and vaccum pulled.
