I'm reluctant to drill holes in my truck on the theory that holes encourage rust. I assume flares come with self-tapping screws. What do I do to keep the holes from rusting? Thanks in advance. I've ordered ATS flares from my '03 3500 LB and will be painting them when they come in. Any additional comments are welcome.

I'd put some silicone in the hole after you drill the self tapping screw through and then on the other side and coat it so no water can get to the bare metal of the hole you made.
