In my 2005 chevy colbalt the turn signal when on makes a loud clicking noise which Is nice. Now do they make a flasher that you can hear.

KennethS,

That is the first part I ever bought for my truck. I don't have a part number but all I did is walk into Auto Zone and asked for a "loud clicking flasher". Seems like it was @ $5.

My trtuck came with a loud clicking flasher and it also had one to put in for pulling a trailer so all the lights won't overpower the other one. The heavy duty one doesn't make a noise.

Noisy Flasher

From Radio Shack get a Pizeo (sp) buzzer anywhere from $2. 50 to $10. depending on size/loudness or volume contol. Attach the wires to two of the five treminals. red goes to 12v +terminal that is acvtivated when T/S lever is moved and black to the ground when the lever is moved. I don't have the book at work but will post terminal numbers here tomorrow if you havent figured it out by then.

I spent two weeks looking for a flasher that was loud enough - - never did!

Promised wiring diagram

Dodge Turn Signal Flasher

Black Wire from Pizeo Buzzer to top horizontal terminal

Red Wire from Pizeo Buzzer to bottom vertical terminal

If the flasher were a relay, (same terminal layout) the black wire would go to #87 and the red would go to #30

This is to hook up a buzzer to the turn signal flasher.

It will not operate with the four ways.
