I don’t remember if I disconnected both batteries or not, I may have, I did it in the parking lot of the parts store so I wouldn’t have to pay a core charge.

So, it looks like I need to drive the truck at a steady speed for about an hour to complete the two missing monitors.

Still would like to know how you can tell if there is a “DeSoot” being done. I’m glad I’m not subject to an emissions test here.

Not familiar with a 2016 but it may show on one of the EVIC pages. Your scan tool might have the ability to look at PIDS while the engine’s running. There is a PID called DPF regen status. On mine the display shows 0.0 most of the time and 1.0 while in regen.
 
According to the file that @PRS attached the heated catalyst monitor needs to see more than 11 psi at the intake at idle. At 9500’ it’s only going to see around 10.3 psi, depending on the weather system.

If that sheet is correct @Almost 13ranch will need to descend to 7K, or lower, and complete two regens.. up to 48 hours of drive time, to reset the monitor. Seems excessive, but I bet the vast majority of these trucks don’t live in places with less than 11 psi of ambient pressure.

If that’s the case, this truck my never see conditions like that. It might never clear up.

Actually I’m about 25 miles west of Cripple Creek. I get below 7,000’ almost 3 times a week for a total daily time of maybe 35 minutes, however, half of that is up a pretty steep grade. If the parameters are cumulative, it would take about 30 weeks to clear. Sure seems like a weird way of setting the monitors.

I guess it could be either, and with an extra cup of coffee it now reads like DPF inlet pressure, but at idle they should be nearly the same since exhaust flow is so low.

The delta pressure of 29 seems crazy high. Being delta pressure the ambient pressure shouldn’t be factored in. The highest delta pressure I’ve seen is around 1.5. Most the time it’s below 0.5 psi.
 
Well, started my truck in town earlier and, surprise, no flashing CEL! I left the key on for awhile and it stayed on steady until I started it. When I got home, I put the scanner on it and it showed 10 monitors complete. No clue what cleared it, I haven’t really driven it any differently than before.
