I was wondering if anyone has ever bought one of the flatbeds from valley vet supply.

Pickup Flat bed

What's your opinion on this? Good deal? Piece of junk?

Do you know of any other companies that offer flatbeds at a reasonable price?

Thanks JL

2-L Custom Trucks, Western Hauler, or Redline Conversion beds are the way to go. . do a yahoo search, and look at the beds I am talking about. . just thought you might like to see. . if I can I will post the links for you.

I was actually thinking the same thing. At my last job, we installed alot of those Bradford beds. I was impressed with the quality and the features. Those fold-down sides are real nice. Those pics don't have them, but you can get them with lights in the headache rack. And if you order a Dodge bed, It has separate stop, turn, and backup lights. They have that so the truck doesn't think you have a burned out light.

I installed one of the Bradford Built beds from Valley Vet Supply on my '89 a couple of years ago. I was fairly impressed with what I got, especially for the price.

- Excellent fit and finish.

- Integrated rear bumper with hitch. All the beds I could get locally required a bumper/hitch to be fabbed up seperatly.

- Come standard with a Turn-Over ball hitch that hides under the bed.

- Fold up side rails with built in tie downs are great. It even has slots for tailgate and partition boards.

- Came with all the extras (mudflaps, lights, tow rings on the bumper)

The only possible drawback would be that the powdercoating is a bit slick when wet and doesn't do much to keep stuff from sliding around back there. It's probably not a bed I would install on a welding truck, where it would take serious abuse, but for everyday haulin' stuff it's great.
