I know this has been done on here before but I 'll try it again!

I lost the tread cap on a tire last week and tore the heck out of my bed (which was in bad shape anyway) and I'm thinking I'm going to go with a flatbed. I am leaning towards the CM SS or RD models. I don't know how much each costs but if I install it myself my insurance check should about cover it. If you have pics of your SRW QC long bed with flatbed on I would love to see them. I have done hundreds of searches looking for pics of "my" truck wearing a flatbed so I can get an idea what it might look like and there's very few out there.

With SRW don't go with a full 8' wide bed, they look funky without duals, maybe 7' - 7.5' Also don't get one with too much overhang on the rear. With a flat bed, stacks are mandatory:-laf

I may be swapping a standard cab long bed frame under my quad cab (short bed) and if I do, I'll probably ditch the bed and go with a flatbed, since there's a couple inches of wheelbase difference. In for the updates...

I got my flatbed on and wired and am dealing with the LED issue.
Now I'm on to the fuel filler........Is there and easy solution to this that can be had? I am thinking of buying some fuel flex hose and replacing the solid aluminum neck with it. Does this sound like the solution I need? Without taking mine apart and measuring, can someone tell me what diameter I need? It looks like 1 1/2" or 2"? Does that sound right?

TIA
