I just ordered 2 Fleet Guard stratapore oil filters from Geno's and I was wondering what exactly the differeance was between the regular filter and the stratapore filter? I've been running Napa Gold Filters because they where easy to get and made by WIX, but wanted to try these. If someone could please fill me in on the differenace it would be greatly apperciated.

Fleetguard filters are made by Cummins.

fleetguard is owned by cummins, not necessarly the filters made by them though [some of the fleetguard stuff might be donaldson].

fleetguard makes many other filters that are sold as other brands too [i heard somewhere that the napa gold is a fleetguard in the cummins isb application???]

Cummins also owns Donaldson.

Ok..

So,

Fleetguard owns Dodge.

Wix owns Cummings

Dodge owns Duramax

and Powersmoke owns Nelson.

Who does Fram own?

Just wondering.
