I use Fleetguard filters but I don't much care for them putting 52 Tennesseans out of a job. Anybody heard anything about this? Are they doing this in other area's of the country? I copied this from a radio station website from the East Tennessee region:
"The Fleetguard Distribution Center , located in White County[Tennessee] , will close its doors by the end of this year, and 52 employees will be looking for another job. Fleetguard’s manager of global communications, said the announcement "was not a total surprise" to the employees. The company had originally planned on keeping a portion of the center open, but the entire Sparta[Tennessee] distribution operation will be phased out by the end of 2004. "
