It has been a while since I have seen anything about the fleetguard enviroguard. Has anybody got any recent feedback on it. Has it stood up and continued to eliminate most of the oil blow by.

I've had mine on since June 2004 and I've been happy with it. I did notice where the vent hose exits just above the steering box that the vapor still caused alittle build up on top of the steering box so I added an 18" length of 3/4" PCV hose to it and dropped it down below the frame rail just infront of the steering box. The build up was over along period of time and no where as bad as the build up I got with the factory ventalation system. Other than that I don't see any drips from it after it is parked and no more mess on my front timing cover and no more draining that little bottle at oil change. I have a couple of friends that pulled the bottle off and extended the hose back but I notice they will leave some oil spots when they park. Mine won't do that. I guess I'm saying it's not perfect but alot better than the factory system.

I've had mine on for about a year & it's one of the best additions I made. No more mess on the front of the engine, no more plugged radiator.

It's too bad the enviroguard didn't come on the engine from the factory. .

RPMDodge,

I got mine at Cummins West in West Sacramento. It was a Fleetguard part number #CV50115 for Dodge 5. 9L Cummins engine applications. I'll be the first to admit it was kind of pricey at $242. 44 out the door, but if I had to do it again I would. The hardest part of the install was pulling the front dipstick application soft plug out of the block to install the oil return line. The method I used worked for me and I had the whole thing installed in about 30 minutes. PM me if you you need any help.

Regards, Mike.
