fleetguard oil filter 3935

[Okie-Go]

Plan on changing oil wed. Going to big D. with 5er Friday am. Hope it holds up, this will be the first time to use this brand. Maybe next itme I will get the statopore,Andy from Geno's said this one should do. It's not too often I am in dusty conditions. Any comments??

I have used the LF3935 for 5 oil changes now with no problems. Just ordered/recieved 5 more from Geno's a couple of weeks ago.

We Use the fleet guard in our tractors sucking dirt all day. So ask if I trust fleetguard, If it can be on a tractor that eats dust all day I think it will do on my truck. The john deeres we go with factory filters.

Okie, I've been useing the fleetgaurd stratapore and had good luck. I had some one do the oil change once and it leaked. But I tightend it a little and all is well. I think these filters have to be on tight. I used a strap wrench and the plastic bag method , works slick.

Short version is that the LF 3935 is acceptable; the LF 3894 (stratapore) is better. Whether the difference matters could keep us all going for hours; that's why I've just referenced the other thread instead.
