Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Flex plate?

Is anybody running an performance flex plate. I broken the overdive snap ring & pulled the transmission this morning. I figured while its out, I would order and intsall one. But no one has one and they wont commit to a delivery date. Do I install and run it (its been ok for 180k)? Or let it sit for a couple weeks to wait until I get one.

Couple of weeks?? I get them from Suncoast or BD in a few days.

Just put in an ATS.

Took 2 days to get.

Not cheap, but if it were worth its weight in GOLD would have cost me a small fortune !!!!

I put the Suncoast laminated plate in when I did my trans, twice as strong as stock. I probably didn't need it but thought the same thing, as long as I was in there. If you are interested in a stock plate I have the one from mine with 55K on it from a stock truck, great condition.

Got an ATS and the ring gear was on backwards relief on wrong side fixed it with a die grinder :-laf
