Trying to help out a friend with 2003 2500 6speed 4X4. At night he has trouble with the headlights "flickering". It looks something like the light are switching between Hi, Lo, and Fog Light. It's difficult to describe, but that's the best I can do. It does it pretty consistantly. It has been to the dealer twice to be looked at. The first time they replaced (under Warranty) a light module part number FR8035031 or 56051036AD (cost $186). That didn't fix anything as it started doing the same thing immediately. Vehicle went in again and they could't find what was wrong and returned the vehicle without changing anything. They say the electrical system checks out okay. The lights still "flicker". Anyone have any ideas that we can go back to the dealer with?

Intake Grid Heater

This is normal if its cool outside, its the grid heaters working.

If it continues after reaching around 15 mph then the grid heater

system needs to be checked... just a possible problem. Maybe a

relay. Its prolly something simple like the light switch. :)

I know I'm not a new truck guy but I had this issue with mine, turned out to be a bad air temp sensor... ... . clean it first to verify!
