2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Flooor Matting Replacement

Is there an alternative to the Matting underlayment ? I ripped out the wet matting . It was taking to long to dry even with a carpet turbo fan.

You may want to try some of the noise reduction materials. More expensive than the jute, but really quiets the ride. I got mine fromGSI and have been very pleased with the results. I found the fiber jute at a carpet supply house before I decided to do some soundproofing. If you're leaking, I would keep whatever you use off the low areas on the sides of the cab floor. I tried drying my factory jute too. Never did dry out all the way and was still stinking when I tossed it.

I might consider that, but I like the noise.

Thanks for the reply. I already used the lead sheets. I almost feel like putting in a weep hole by the edge for drainage.
