I am going to try to use a floor mounted headlight dimmer switch to simultaneously activate my 4" in-line Jacobs E-Brake and torque converter lockup. I was going to also install toggle switches for each one individually that would have to be on for the floor switch to work, but I think for now I will see if I am happy with just the 1 switch controlling both. The stock Jacobs setup that deactivates the E-Brake when the go pedal is hit will still be hooked up also. My thought was that the floor mounted switch will give a quick-on/quick-off and avoid drilling my dash or adding a switch panel. I am also running Dave Goerends Triple Disk TC. I just finished putting that beast in last week... what a difference!!! What are your ideas/thoughts/suggestions for the switch?

I was thinking about using just a momentary push button switch, like a "push to start" type switch, but I decided I'd rather have it be able to be turned on and off. Ideally I would like a switch that could be mounted on the floor that when pushed lightly could be momentary or be pushed on/off. I was hoping the dimmer switch I bought at NAPA would do that, but it doesn't switch the circut until it has positively clicked on or off. Confusing enough?

Yes, similar to the high beam switch on the column. Pull a little for on, pull all the way to stay on. My switch does not do that. It's on or off but it works fine for me. Rarely do I want the E-brake on more than a minute or two at a time anyhow. I also wired in the toggle switch that was supplied by Pacbrake in an inconspicuous place on the dash so I can turn it on fulltime if I want. Both of my switches are overridden by giving it throttle (the brake will not run if you're giving it any throttle).
