Floor jack & jack stand question

I just bought a pair of new in the box 6ton jack stands at a auto show flea market for $20. 00,Pittsburgh Parts Arama. Thier were at least 6 vendors selling them and jacks too plus any other tool you may need alot of competition. Try one of them ora flea market ,around here they have new tool dealers too.

seriously the place at the rear would be either the frame by the wheel or under the rear axle by the springs.

on the front, just find a place on the frame to lift by the wheel that you want to work on. or you can put it on the front axle by the lower control arms.
