Floor mats for 1st gen trucks

Has anyone found a good set of floor mats for the 1st gen trucks lately? I'd like a set of Husky Liners but they don't list one for the first gen trucks. All the floor mats that I can find are too narrow for these trucks. Anyone? Thanks Ken Irwin

Go to the husky website, they have the heavy duty floormats and they list some for the 1st gens. There rubber not the molded type but there very nice i have some in my 2nd gen. i just looked them up, they have the dimenensions of them so you can look and see if they'll fit how you want them too. I'm gonna order some from cabela's in the morning i measured the floors and they look like there going to be a great fit. I have these in my 2nd gen and they work great

They never list anything for the 1st Gens. I always have to find a 2nd Gen to look at, do my measuring, and then see if I can make it fit. I notice that some things coming out now don't list 2nd Gens. I guess it's a matter of how many units of something they think they can sell.



It does get frustrating at times. I also would like to see the "New Products" section of the magazine test these things on the older trucks to determine if they can be adapted for our use too.



It's hard being a curmudgeon, but worth it! :-laf

oem carpets and floor mats

I have them reproduced by a company in Ca. . They are exactly like the factory originals... . I have to buy 25 sets at a time but he will let me mix colors on the orders..... The last order I placed about 4 years ago... I spoke to the vendor last summer about doing another short run . He was still willing then to do it between production runs... If enough guys join in for new oem carpets or floor mats I will get it quoted and place the order... . Otherwise I will not. . I only need a couple of sets myself and won't live long enough to use any more than that..... Those interested PM me... .

Our company started making front floor liners about the time the 1994 Ram (new body style that year) was released. As the company was rather "new" and there were a lot of other "current" vehicles to build liners for, the 1993 and older Ram was passed up. At this time I do not believe we will ever be adding liner for this vehicle. It would take a commitment to purchase 500 sets for us to recover the tooling/engineering costs of making parts.

I found a good set on E-Bay with the Cummins logo on a grey that closely matches the rug about a year ago. I think the seller was the same as in the link below; he advertises mats for all Dodge 1981 to present.
