Florida Concealed Carry

I understand you can get a concealed carry permit from Florida even if you are not a resident. Anybody have any experience with this and how you go about filing the paperwork

Call them and ask for an application.

Fill it out, get your local PD to do the prints, get a passport pic and send it in with $118. 00 (Think that's how much it was??) Good for 5 years.



Mine took just a little over 90 days. It's good in something like 20 states.



My Pennsylvania permit was done in about a week. No prints, no picture. $5. 00 for 5 years, but it's only good in PA.

The key here is to apply in Centre county. Different counties have different interpretations of the law. Centre is good this way.



I live in NJ. No CCW here unless youre a cop or politically connected.
