Is there anything going on in Florida? How about a known diesel shop to meet? The closest posts of meets I have seen is Atlanta! Sorry, thats a full day drive each way... I gotta pay the bills!

Gene, years ago I had my pump done at Bosch place on north OBT. . near Cummins shop. Cant recall name anymore. There's two of us... Anyone else in Florida? At all?

Central Fla. would work for me too,but im not opposed to driving just about anywhere with enough notice,I cover from Ormond bch. to Vero and every thing west to I-75 for my work.

BCFAST I know of the Bosch shop your talking about(Dieselect), just bought a set of injectors from them.
Not sure how we get this rolling, any suggestions.

There are several Mopar clubs in the area, I know of a couple on the east coast, Cocoa, Melbourne area that get together several times a year, maybe we could hook up with them and have a get together within theirs,that way if the turnout of diesels isn't great at least we can look at some nice Muscle cars while we're there. Anyone with any other bright ideas please let us know, theres got to be more than just 5 of us in the area. I pass dozens of Dodges daily.

CAW440, I agree with you, there must be more than just the 5 of us. I waiting for a mail list from TDR with all the members in our area. I plan to send everyone a post card to see how much interest there is on starting a local chapter(I tried to e-mail you directly and it was returned undeliverable?).
A few year ago I enter my truck in the cocoa mopar clubs show I was the only diesel truck there.

Would anyone be willing to form up with a small group an approach a Dodge dealer or a Cummins / diesel repair shop about sponsoring this function.

I would be willing to meet with anyone interested in central Fla. and give it a try. A meeting place should be convenient to everyone. There is also an area Sales office for Mopar in Orlando.

Appears dealers in other areas do this. Worth a try.

Hey Gene, i just met bcfast through this website and he told me thatyou guys are trying to put together a central florida chapter. cool count me in I'm new to TDR but looking forward to meeting and talking to other dodge owners. just drop me an e-mail if you need any help putting it together.

I missed the meeting I guess, maybe next time. Not cummins related but my brother and I go to and compete in 4x4 events in different places from Orlando to Ft. Meyers. Maybe we could meet at one of these events.

Just to update this topic, and keep it showing. We now have a meeting place and all info will be sent out shortly naming the time, date of the first meeting of the Central Florida Dodge diesel owners. Orlando Dodge will graciously allow us to meet at their dealership, and will provide some technicial presentations by their shop personnel. Today they gave me the word "IT'S A GO FOR A MEETING".
