Florida's highways

Heading to Jacksonville, FL from Mississippi. Does anyone know if they have finished I-10 between Tallahassee and I-75 or if there is any construction on I-10 that will cause delays?

i -10

sorry i can't give you any definate. was in tallahassee about a month ago and was on i-10 briefly and that was ok. however, when we left the capitol we went south so that was our only driving on i-10. hopefully someone else will help. have a safe trip. bruce

I-10 construction

From about exit 27 (Flying J exit) thru Exit 29 there may be a backup due to construction. On week day mornings, the backup will be thru exit 30. (New exit numbers now go by milemarkers - but old numbers are on side of signs. )

Went thru last weekend on the way to Tampa. There was very little back-up, but it was a weekend. Construction was still happening, judging from the barrels, equipment, etc. That's the first time I've been thru there in years, so I don't know how bad it is you are remembering.

Just came thru there both friday and yesterday. One lane of traffic east and west bound for several miles right in Tallahassee. What really slowed it down or stopped it was traffic entering I-10 from the city. Took about 20-25 minutes to get thru... ... .....
