2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Flow Out of Dash Vents Isn't What It Used To Be

The flow out of my dash vents isn't what it used to be several years back, reduced maybe by 30-40%. All of the selector modes seem to function properly but the flow from the vents just seems less. I see no leaves or debris near the cowl area at all and usually don't. Could there be some blockage at the inlet side of the evaporator core? If so is this area accessible for a quick cleaning? Any other ideas? Thanks for your help guys.

Dave, you can remove the fan and reach in and clean out any debris that is against the core. Mine wasnt too bad, but it definately wasnt clear. I pulled out what I could by hand. Then poured some mild soap in there, let it sit for a while, then stuck a hose in there. I let it run for 30 minutes or so. Flushed out quite a bit of dirt.

clean the fan wheel as well it makes a big difference in air flow

when the wheel is all white your done
