Flowmaster Muffler - 954040-10

I am just curious if anyone has ran this specific muffler?



I ordered one from Summit just for grins to see if it will give me the exhaust note I am seeking. This is only a muffler... not the whole system.



Delta Force Race 40 series - its a 2 chamber



Anyone ran it? I doubt I'll get time to put it on before leaving for May Madness (I'm leaving Monday morning) If I don't like it then I'll be selling it prolly for 80% of what I paid for it, in case anyone is interested. Looks nice sitting in the box tho, it arrived today along with my new torque convertor (93% race TC).

Get rid of that muffler Kat. I cut my Flowmaster off yesterday, sound very cool

I am not a fan of the straight pipe 24v..... just my preference.

Kat, I run one of the 10 series single chambers flows. . and I like it, but I have never tried that straight pipe. I do not know the part number of my muffler, but it is only 3in and out. The body of the muffler is only 6in long. The only thing I would check on is the recomended Hp for the muffler. The add from Summit ranged this muffler from 275-300hp, why I don't know. . Just something to check on. . (no problem for my stocker. . )

I also remember reading that My6eatsV8 was running a flow, might want to check to see what he was running. .
