No matter which way you go, if you have the Limited Slip, you beter change the fluid at the recommended intervals. As the clutches wear, it contaminates the fluid, and that's what lubes the carrier bearings and all four wheel bearings. I tried to get 100k out of Amsoil 75-90, and the one of the carrier bearings desintegrated. The grit flowed all around and ruined all the rest of the bearings too. I don't blame Amsoil, or synthetics, I'm using Royal Purple now. I think It was my fault, for not following manufacturer's recommended change intervals. In a standard rear end, I think you could probably run that stuff forever.
