I have a question for you guys running a Fluid Damper. I just chucked a serpentine belt and in the process of changing it, I found out that the belt does not fit between the damper and the fan pulley. So I have to loosen the four bolts that hold the idler pulley and the fan pulley. Is this normal?

Thanks

Dustin

Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to make sure that I didn't get a damper for something else. What a pain in the rear it is to change the belt on it now with the Fluid Damper.

Also just another quick question, what replacement belt does everyone recommend? I was going to put on a Gates green back, but the parts house must of gave me the wrong one because it was just a little to long, so I ended up using a Dayco Gold poly cog.
