Fluid Leak...Trans/Transfer Case

i noticed this morning that a leak has sprung where the transfer case bolts to the rear trans housing. noticed a few drips on the driveway. the fluid is clear in color. the "wet" stains only go up about halfway. any ideas before i take it in for warranty work?

Not transmission fluid (that's what's in the transfer case also). Maybe brake fluid - I don't know how it would be there though

TxRam, no smell and clear like fresh oil. brake fluid level is full. i'm taking it in to a local dealer this morning.

my truck had to go in the shop for a leaking transfer case seal, they split the case and resealed, that seemed to fix it

Hope it works for you... had mine into Dodge 9 times for a transfer case leak. Finally it went to arbitration and I got a new transfer case. Let me know how it works out.

finally got my "handle" straightened out (aka david hogner). Called local dealer this morning, they took it in, then called right before i left work. they told me it was ready and that they replaced the rear transmission seal. drove it home and took a gander... so far no leak.
