Archived fluid leak...

all fluids seem okay... haven't checked transmission, transfer case, or front gear levels.



leaking from engine compartment on passenger side.



there is a outlet extension opening protruding from the engine/cab barrier in the engine compartment that looks like the source of the fluids.



is this normal? is there a tube missing?

It's your front axle vent tube. They puke out oil from time to time - no real reason. Does the fluid smell like 90W? The hose should be capped with a white plastic vent.



Just make sure the hose isn't plugged or kinked, clean it up, and drive on.

there is no hose attached to protruding metal tube... it must have fallen off at one point.
