I have been reading past topics on fluid changes. I have a 2002 and would like to know what fluids to put in the transfer case and the front and rear differentials. I'm reading Amsoil is the best.

Well, since you did mention Amsoil, I will tell you what I used in my 2001 4x4. I am not pushing anything on anyone, this is purely information as to what fluids I have personally used in my truck. I can't say Amsoil is the best, since I have never used any other non-OEM fluids, so I can not compare. As far as synthetics go, other TDR members have reported using Royal Purple and Red Line brands as well. Lubrication Engineers I believe are either blended or pure conventional lubricants, although they might also have 100% synthetics as well.

Engine: Amsoil Series 2000 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel & Marine

Both differentials: Amsoil 75W-90 gear lube

NV5600 6 speed transmission: Amsoil Series 3000 5W-30 engine oil

Transfer case: Amsoil ATF

All my lubricants are 100% synthetic.

I have been running synthetics in all of the above areas for at least 30K miles. I have changed out the various fluids at appropriate intervals, what I meant was that I made the switch over from conventional lubricants to synthetics at least 30K miles ago in every case. In the diffs and transfer case, I switched maybe 50K miles ago.
