I finally got my engine in and went to put the fan on and its hitting the dang Dampner, Anyone know what the deal is? I didnt see any thing the fluidampr site that said anything about any clearance problems.

You shouldn't have any clearance issues at all unless in your conversion you used a different fan. That's probably the only thing that could be causing your problem.

I used a 93 fan and hub, The FD site says the dampner is for 92 to 98 12 valves so im not sure what gives.

The 89-93 Fan hub is 3/4 of an inch or so shorter than a 94 and new hub. That is what is causing the fan to hit the damper. Can you install a 94 fan hub? or is a rad clearance issue for the shorter hub?

Wow, I have both hubs but I am running the 93 Hub because that's where my fan needs to be and I already had the 93's fan pulley modified to accept the AC belt. Seems like if this is the Case (Which after you mentioned it, it is) Why does Fluidamprs site say it fits from 92 to 98? And says nothing about clearance issues. I ended up bending the blades a tad and installing one flat washer inside the hub nut to get adequate clearance.
