I was talking to a guy with a power strock and he said that the power strockes have a , well some funkey deal and you cant get them turned you have to get a new one. My question is I am planning to put my clutch in this week and was going to get mine turned. But our first gens dont have this type do they??? Thanks

Dont worry about it your flywheel can be turned and if you are installing a new clutch it must be turned.

I guess the flowersmoke flywheel is plastic or something;)

dual mass flywheel

Early powerstrokes (1994. 5-1997) had a "dual-mass" flywheel that was designed to protect the 5-spd ZF transmission (which had a marginal rating in this application). The 5 Speed ZF was rated at 420 ft-lbs input torque and the 1994. 5 powerstroke made 425 ft-lbs. Those dual mass flywheels had to be replaced, not resurfaced.
