Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fly wheel interchangeable

Does anyone know can the fly wheel from 89-93 Cummins

to be installed to -96 model? I need it to my 96 and a dude

have a one unbolted from 89-93.

Yes. 89-93 has a lip on the outside to index the Sachs pressure plate instead of the first 3 threads of the bolt holes reamed out like later flywheels. The LuK uses shouldered bolts and tight holes in the pressure plate to index it. So. you can use it but if using a LuK, use grade 8 bolts without shoulders.

Thanx! BTW, it's automatic fly wheel, so it should be just bolt on.
