I have put a Diesel Dynamics fuel pump recalibration kit (cam plate?) on my truck and Dun-Rite TC (in case it doesn't show below, 96 extd auto 3. 54 190k miles). I also installed a K&N airfilter at the time. I bought a boost, pyro, and transmission temp gauges. I was wondering I have heard the pyro should be pre turbo but how to install without getting metal into turbo vanes? Where should the transmission temp be located? I purchased the Autometer pillar mount system any ideas on how to color match to the interior; black doesn't look good with my gray interior.
I have read lots about Cat remaoval but my MPG seems pretty good 20-22 in town 24-25 on the freeway and 14. 7 (at 60 12. 5 at 70MPH)pulling trailer (33'x8'6"x9') loaded at 20k GCVW
I don't have an exhaust brake and have never had problem stopping but I am conservative ( my racing is done on the track #ad

oh I almost forgot is a dyno run really like $150 #ad
We run motorcycles all the time and they are like 20-30 for two runs.
I am curious enough though I will get one done if I can find one that also does torque any ideas in the DFW area?

Eric, the chips are easy to solve on the probe install, I used a shopvac to suck the chips up as I drilled and tapped the hole , then used a magnet to take out the few that actually made it in there. On the trans temp guage it go's on the front line out to the cooler. As far as the color on the pod you can go to your local dodge dealer and they can get you the matching color to get the factory look you want . Hope this helps, and as far as the cat go's scrap that and the muffler , not only will it run better but IMHO it also sounds better.

your "A-Pillar" gauge install, go to
your local Dodge dealership and give
them your interior color. They sell
spray paint that will match your
interior color. I have gray interior
too. I will look for my paint can to
see if I can find a part # for you.

Eric go to TDR Links click on tst products,click on the gauges it has picturs and instructions on installing the EGT gauge. Be careful when you tap the manifoil. I dont think your suppost to run the tap all the way in when tapping pipe threds I messed mine up the first time.

Eric ,Bill Kondolay is going to be in Midlothian 2/17 an 2/18 at all pro Transmission 1602 N HY 67. Talking Transmission mods. If you have not raised the line pressure after putting in the fuel plate. the clutches are going to slip. I have Bills TC and VB and I love them.

So when drilling and taping for the pyro do you do it on the exhaust manifold or the turbo housing itself? Do you remove the turbo to do it? Sorry so many ?s I don't want to mess this truck up it has been good to me for too long and I don't want to cause any problems.
Once I get the pyro, transmission and boost gauges installed what is "red line" on each?
