This topic has probably been covered before, but I just bought a '96 3500 dually 2wd SLT Lamarie. Mine has no fog lights or switch. I noticed other trucks that had the switch and lights, and on ebay, theres a set for sale, but is says for NON-DUALLY. Why the difference? Which trucks got foglights and is it hard to retrofit them? I want to fill up the holes in the grille with something, they look so lonely and bare. Bob

Not a problem. I just pulled off the bumper to easily get at the openings. Removed the gray plastic filler panels(where the factory lights go), drilled holes for the "Wally World" 20 buck driving lights, and bolted them in. Put the switch in a convenient spot, and there it is. Total cost was 20 for the lights,10 for beer. An extra bonus is the lights are way lower and project a nice pattern for night driving out in the desert. Easy mod, cheap, and will fill up the bumper slots for the look you want. Don.

It doesn't matter if it's a dually or not. The lights are the same either way.

My truck has the Mopar foglight kit for the early second generation trucks which had different lights and switch from stock. The factory installed foglights use a different plastic piece in the bumper from trucks built without the fog lights. If you are going to install the factory installed foglights, you'll need those parts. If I recall, they are around $20-25 each.

I installed the factory switch in my truck, the one that came with the kit is a cheap POS and the factory one looks much better.
