Fog lights inop

my fog lights quit working, but work if i jump the relay, i switched the relay and still nothing, i was thinking the fcm but not sure, also i need to check the switch still, they were intermitant but now nothing, fog lights are the only thing that dont work:{

My truck manual is 10,000 miles away at the moment so I can't tell you what contacts to check but it sounds like your fog light relay is not getting the power or the ground it needs to turn on the lights.

If you look on the side of the relay it shows a small internal schematic. It will show two contacts connected to a coil. Check one for a ground and check the other one for 12vdc with the fog light switch on. You should be missing one of the two abd that should lead you in the right direction for getting it fixed.

It may be the contacts in the headlight/fog light switch.

That would be the first place to look at if you do not have the 12vdc at the relay with the lights on.
