fog lights on

I was trying to jump my fog light realy so that I could run the fogs on with my highbeams and it just wasn't working. Which contacts do I jump? I was tired and dinner was getting cold when I was trying to figure this out but it almost seemed like it was negative switched, positive ground... I hope not, that'll screw me all up.

The 04. 5 must be different from the 04.



Mine was built so you could run both together.

Oh, I think I see what you mean..... You want them to go OFF when you switch to low beam. Thats not a bad idea.

I think he wants to run the fog lights with low or high beam.

I can't run the fog lamps together with high beams on my 04 either. Would be nice to have fog lamps on while your brights were on while driving down country roads. Have to watch out for the 14,000 zillion deer we have around here.

I would BOMB the multifunction switch so you can put on everything. (high, low and fogs)

Does the brite box from Geno's give you the ability to run fogs with the high beams? I know it allows highs and lows at the same time but do the fogs stay on?

Did they ever get one worked out for the 3rd gens? (that works?)

all I know is that you have to get two boxes for the 3rd gens.

I guess I was thinking that I could jump the relay like I did on my '02 HO. That truck had spade terminals so I just took out the relay and ... I think I figured it out, I'll get back to you all tommarow if it works. Thanks.
