Since I don't have the factory fogs, I want to think about either getting the factory fog lamps, or going with something aftermarket.

I'm sure there's something aftermarket that outperforms the stock units, but would likely be more difficult to install and look OEM. I can order the trim rings no problem, and go for a set at least 3" diameter to look good.

Those with fog lights, how do you feel about their performance? I want something that really lights up the road well. I looked at PIAA and there's only one model that may work.

Thanks everyone,

Vaughn

I've not used them in the fog but I like the way they light up a dark rain covered road. Eventually I will replace them with a higher wattage part. Some day I'll fix them so they stay on with the high beams too.

I like the stock ones!

I like the stock ones. I will also jumper mine to come on with high beams.

I got the Mopar lights which come with the lights, trim pieces, wiring harness and fog lights with integrated mounting brackets, $169. 00 from Dodge. Like the way they fill in the area below the headlights.

One of the fog lights got busted and a single light cost $134. For an extra $35 I just got another kit.

Since I have installed these lights I have done some checking. There are plugs for the fog lights right next to where they mount. There is a relay and fuse for the fog lights in the fuse box. I think the only thing that is missing is the factory headlight switch.

So before you drill a hole in your dash for the switch, check with the dealer and find out if all you need is the fog lights and a new factory head light switch which also controls the fog lights.

The wiring harness was the hardest part of the install, getting it through the firewall is not fun. Besides being awkward, had to create a hole in a rubber boot.

I too did not get the factory lights. I was hoping I could install a set of stainless KC Daylighters in the holes and make it look decent. Just a thought.

Personally I'm using the CATZ fog lights and they work great... they look stock and boy do they outshine the factory ones.

I can send you a pic of them if interested.

Vaughn I would contact Catz and see if they had any for the 03 yet. I put them on my 00 and they do light up the road. The ones on the 03(Hella)are good but they could be better.
