TMTT, I installed the 510 in my truck that uses the same bumper. However I had the make a bracket since Piaa only makes a kit for the non-sport. Since I am removing the bumper to install a Buckstop I will take some pictures of the setup that I made. There is no welding involved..... all you need is some 1/8x1 steel cut 2 inches long. Then drill 2 holes and WALLA, peace of cake. It has been so long since I did the install I have forgotten exactly how I did it. Tommorrow I will take pictures of the install and post them on a thread. It was simple involving nothing more then a drill and a way to cut the steel to lenght. I will get those posted on Friday.
Double 6, is yours a sport bumper or the non-sport. Piaa makes a bracket kit for the non-sport bumper that uses the 510 series light. Unfortunately they are spendy lights though.
Chipstien you da man! I stumbled on this thread searching for Sport Headlight conversion wiring.
I am replacing my stock bumper and was thinking to install 99+ foglamp inserts with OEM foglamps, but these PIAA 510s would be the bomb, especially if they already have the bracket
Thanks for posting this, even though it was 9 months ago
