I have read on here and other forums that it is possible for the dealer to use the starscan (or whatever it is currently called) to change the setting in the computer to allow the use of the highbeams and the foglights at the same time. They just say it is possible, but not how to do it.
I had the truck in for some other computer flashes and the tech and I looked for the right screen but could not find it. What I need is the steps and/or specific screen to change this. I have also heard it is possible to do this with the bullydog or possibly the smarty, anybody able to confirm this?

-- YES, I know it is illegal in most states to have both on.
-- YES, I could buy the brite box, but a simple computer flash will do basically the same thing for a lot less. (no low beam at the same time)
-- YES, I realize that the fog shine down and the highs go up, not a good combination in the fog. I just like the extra light at other times.
-- No, I don't really want to wire the foglights hot all the time.
-- I know on the older trucks there was a relay or other things to jumper, that is not recommended or as easy on the can-bus systems.
Thanks.
