Fold Flat Floor for bench seat

My QC has a bench seat in the back. When I bought the truck the sales guy told me that to have the Fold Flat Floor installed would be $500 +, so I told him I would wait (thinking, "I'll buy this thing cheap on eBay"). Now, come to find out, Dodge only offers the fold flat option with the 60/40 rear seat configuration, so this was never an option on my truck. :{



So, my question here is, has anyone out there ever come across an aftermarket Fold Flat Floor for a bench seat?



Or, another question might be, has anyone ever installed the 60/40 Fold Flat Floor under their bench seat (I am under the impression that the "middle" brackets would get in the way of the bench. )



Or, finally, has anyone ever made their own fold flat floor and would you be willing to share pictures/plans so that I could build one?

Don't know about making one but I took the one out of my truck and I would

give it to you for shipping cost. Maybe you could modify it to work. It is for a

60/40 split bench though.

That is a kind offer there. My C&C was supposed to have the foldflat system with the premium seat package ordered with my 07 C&C and Dodge deleted it without notice. The dealer wanted $1200. 00 (BS) and I found one on EBAY for around $180. 00 incl. shipping. The premium package was ordered just to get the foldflat system and I *****ed about it for a couple of weeks and got no where. Dodge blamed the dealer and the Dealer blamed Dodge. If I would not of had the money invested in a bed for the C&C, I would have refused it on principle, and the dealer probably would of included it so they would not to lost the sale. I,m happy now but every time I see the fleet manager I give him a hard time about it. I needed it for the tools to fit back there.

I understand your frustration, RVTRKN. We told the salesman that the fold flat floor was an important feature. He told us that it could be added, so we decided to purchase the truck. I don't know if he mis-represented it so we would buy his truck, or if he was just unaware. In either case, there is not a full width floor available.

Put a fold-flat floor from a 2005 in my 04. 5 with a solid bench seat. Made a "middle" bracket to bolt the floor to. Did not interfere with the bench seat. Only problem is you cannot get to just one side or the other, the whole seat has to lift up. Really not a problem at all, except when the dog in there.

Put a fold-flat floor from a 2005 in my 04. 5 with a solid bench seat. Made a "middle" bracket to bolt the floor to. Did not interfere with the bench seat.
