Does anyone have pictures of the fold flat floor?

I've heard about, but haven't seen one in a truck. Has anyone of you installed one in your truck?

Thanks

I don't have any pics, but we have one on our 2004. 5. It's great. It's two piece: one the length of each back seat, so you can use either one or both. When not in use it folds in half under the seats. In use it lays flat just above the hump in the back, so you have a flat storage space all along the back. It reaches to just about the back of the front seat, so all the back area is usable. You can even fit small items under it on the carpeting if you want. Stuff does slide however. I'm looking inot getting it Rhino'ed or something just to help keep stuff in place.

Funny how they cut out openings for the cup holders..... why would you use em with flat floor?

Guess the driver could reach back for his second cup of joe.

The fold line is about centerline of the drink holders. It has to be cut out for access when folded under. ;)

Fold Flat Floor

The fold flat floor is GREAT!!!! Solved the "sliding" problem by applying strips of 1 inch 3M Outdoor Tread tape to the tops of the ridges. Took to 15 foot rolls to do the whole floor. Cost less than $15. Found the tape at local home improvement store - Mendard's, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.

Pete,WTH you talking about, my rear "can" holder is accessible regardless of the seats and/ or fold flats position! Nothing has to be cut out! :p On second thought I think I see the meaning of your post, must've been too many items out of that thing over the last 2 days and 2300 miles, my mistake !!

I love the fold-flat because my kids (4 & 6) can rest their feet on it. More comfortable for them, and keeps them from pushing their feet on the back of the front seats. Can also keep fishing poles, etc. under there without the kids stepping on them.

I'd really recommend you get them (they also work nice for their intended purpose - holding boxes). Any dealer should have them in most of their quad cabs. Check them out.

Ive used mine once, and it wasnt necessary. I don't really use it much... Im thinking an underseat sub box will go in thier place.

What I mean is that the centerline (fold) of the floor is in the middle of the drink holder. If the floor sections weren't notched out at the factory, they would overlap the drink holder. The result is the drink holder exposed thru the fold out floor. :p

GREAT IDEA! I miss the space behind the seat in my reg cab for long stuff. I'll have to try that and see if it works with my 6 year old.

If I recall correctly, there's also a nice slot for long stuff against the rear wall of the cab, but you have to flip-up one of the seat bottoms to access.
