Fearing the wrath of some Net God somewhere, here is the pic from Dodge when you click on the option. Crappy representation of the floor IMHO... The floor is the lid of the rear storage, under the seat itself. It bi-folds out to a flat floor , split about 2/3 & 1/3 passenger and driver side.

I understand that if you want this and don't put it in your order, it costs 10 times more to add it later... . Can you take it out if you dont want it? Or will it be a mess? The reason I am asking is because I might get some subs.

Check the sub enclosure thread in this forum. I think someone there confirmed that it's 4 bolts to take it out... I haven't messed with mine, the dogs appreciate the shorter seat to floor step down...

Well this thread just made my day. I have the folding floor, but never looked under it. Awsome more storage. Oo. In fact I had to go out in the snow and cold to see for my own eyes. This truck just keeps getting better and better.

At $88 bucks, order it.

Comes out with 8 nuts from the top, then you can sell it for half the Mopar accessory price and pay for your subs!!!

I'll buy yours...

Not standard on the SLT, I sadly discovered. I'll be happy to buy a flat floor off anyone not wanting theirs. Even just one side...

I have a SLT and it doesn't have it. I wasn't aware of it when I ordered, sure would like to have one. I asked the dealer about getting me one at a good price. They just called, they normally sell them for $189, they said they would give me a good deal and sell it to me for $170. This is suppose to be a good deal.

Has anyone else priced a folding flat load floor.

It would be nice to compare prices.

That would be a great deal compared to other prices I have seen.

1,300 canadian dollars list price, what a rip off.

glad i ordered it factory.

I would double check that price of 189 u. s seems too low,

i know on our parts system it prices out the 60% load floor

and 40% floor separately, you need both.

That's a good deal. I was quoted over $700 bucks for both sides. Ouch!

Anyone ordering a truck, get the option. I'll buy the driver's side... .

I talked to two dealers today and they both gave me a price of around $1000. One of the dealers was the one that gave me the $170 price. This wasn't the correct item. The one dealer told me it was an option that you can only get when you order a vehicle, it isn't available otherwise.

Who is telling the truth, I don't know and it isn't worth that to me anyway.

Flat folding floor

BHANER, I ordered my 2003 and when my dealer asked me if I wanted the flat folding floor, I told him I didn't know what is was, and he told me, TRUST ME, you want it, so I said yes include it and he did, wow am I ever so glad that he did.

Im kinda new on this forum stuff, but if you email me your email address, I will take some digital pictures of my folding floor and email them to you.

My email address is -- email address removed --

I got the floor in mine because of the Laramie package. I sure am glad I did! I use it all the time! Even put a snow blower back there the other day. $$$ well spent IMHO. Will try and take some pics for ya tomorrow.

Of all the interior options, that flat floor is right near the top of the list. I really didn't think much about it when I ordered my truck because it came with the package. I would miss it now if I didn't have it.
