Foolish Mistake, Loosing Dodge!

It looks like that rear door on the camper shell has "Garage Door Syndrome" ? The "Syndrome" known as the act of backing one's truck out of the garage and forgetting the lift up door was in the up position, there by wrapping the door back over the top????

My wife did her truck twice while we owned a build facility for truck toppers in Anchorage. A short set of restraint chains on the strut mount balls work well, to only allow the door the rise parallel to the ground.

Drive thru portal syndome, I forgot it was up and was backing through it , hadn't had it but a week at the time, I have a drive through on front of my house ,was giving a woman some tires and she was parked on the other side, thought i would just back up to her truck and Wham, old timers disease i guess

Ya'll better look again at the new Dodge rams, I saw 2 today that had the RAM emblem on the tailgate and right above it, it said DODGE

I watched this video, a nice walkaround of a 1500. I didn't see anything DODGE...

The ones i saw were 3500 duallys ,I was behind them at a red light, The top of the Ram emblem said Dodge on it, My wife was the one that pointed that out to me, and then about 30 min. later i was behind another one and sure enough there it was again, Just passing on what i saw, Thanks and have a great day, Monte

I think you will find that 2010's include the Dodge and in 2011 it is gone from the tailgate. The duallie above is a 2010.

OK, when i looked this up, i typed in 2014 Dodge ram 3500

They put those small letters on the ram head because they realize like me, they are loosing customers. It should be! as it always had been; it's a Dodge 1st, ram secondary as models break down. They want to minimize Dodge or loose the name they will loose buyers.

IIRC, when the change was made to RAM, from DODGE, there was a total brand change including a different VIN. Its more than badging. This may have been covered in TDR print way back.

And Ram as the brand is one of the DUMBEST things they've done. Just dumb. If they want changes they should fix the front ends and emissions system problems but leave the name of our trucks DODGE!

I agree, Ram??? WT Frick!!! It should be D or W 100, 200, or 300. And leave Dodge on it. Dodge built it ram tagged along on it's shirt tails. I never called one of my Dodge's a ram.

The good news is that they're kicking Chevy butt and referencing an older Dodge ad campaign.

My money says that soon enough, it will have a FIAT engine in the HD- already has a FIAT sourced motor as an option in the 1500............
