Is my transmission going ?

We installed the TST #8 in my fathers truck over this past Christmas. He has a 500 gallon water tank that sits in the bed that is used to haul water to their house(no potable well or public water system). He also owns two 20 ft gooseneck trailers one a stock trailer the other a flatbed and when loaded they gross just over 20,000 lbs. K&N air filter/no cat or muffler. Pre turbo readings so far have not exceeded 1200 degrees. That is why I'm considering either the #6 or #5 with a transmission upgrade.

Honestly that #8 makes a world of difference especially over 50 mph which is the reason I want to upgrade my transmission. When it kicks into overdrive it slams you in your seat.

With the #8 and the below additions 16CM, 3k's ect it was 32lbs and 1200 EGT. 28lbs and 1150 with just the plate kit before the other mods but with the 4" that probably gave me nothing.

Boost 30 lbs. , Max egt 1250. Most of the time while towing I don't see more than 1000-1100.

I have a couple other mods which don't truely classify me as stock. If you are running the stock converter, I don't think you would have to worry about exhaust temps at all with this plate.
