Hey all of you that have bought the winter guards from me, what do you think? do you like them?

I like them, it has not gotten that cold here yet ,but they do seem to help get the heat up faster.

Eric, I received mine a couple of weeks ago. I have not yet installed them. It has not been real cold in Lower Michigan yet. I will probably install them in a month or so. I checked the fit and all but one seem to fit well, a little filling will take of the problem. Thanks for the follow-up.

like the guards, I think they will really help. had to do some grinding on lower right. no big deal they look good and the price is right .

Thanks for the critique guys and the response on the poll. I have 15 sets available right now, will most likely make another 11 next week.

Did a test on the guards, I climed up a steep 6% grade tonight with the Blu chip box on and running up it at 70 and the temp outside is 35 deg and the engine never went over 195. it was just above the middle but stayed there. Thermometer that is behind the grille but in front of the rad. said 50 deg. so it is helping the air temp going into the radiator.

Eric, I've had mine on for a couple days now, but I haven't done my typical morning drive so I'm not SURE if they're helping yet (temps in the 40's) but I think they are.

I too had a slight fitment problem with the lower right piece.

I also bought stainless hardware due to our rust factor here, would you consider adding stainless as an option on your kits? Just a thought, I'm real happy with them.

I received my guards a few weeks ago. I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship. Since it has not been too cold here yet I have not installed them. I will probably be installing them by the end of the month.
