My cousin is heading down to Marietta this weekend and was wondering if you can still buy Everclear in WV? He was gonna drive to Parkersburg to get some if he can. I told him I wasnt sure if they still did, but I'd try and find out for him. Thanks!

Everclear is a brand of grain alcohol, available at concentrations of 95% alcohol (190 proof ) and 75. 5% (151 proof). Everclear is made by the David Sherman Corp.



It is illegal to purchase the 190 proof version in many U. S. states such as Pennsylvania, Washington, Oregon, California, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, and West Virginia. By contrast, normal hard liquors such as rum and vodka contain only 40% alcohol (80 proof). Everclear is usually mixed into an alcoholic beverage; straight consumption of Everclear is not recommended since lethal overconsumption is a greater possibility than with lesser proof liquors. Because of its high proof, Everclear is highly flammable.

Yea that stuff is crazy. You really cant take a straight shot of it because it feels like it evaporates before it gets down your throat. Its rough stuff. And yes the stuff burns like a Roman Candle

i have drank it straight, but i was pretty hammered at the time, It definately is rough, i know for a fact we have bought the 190 proof everclear in WV when i was at WVU Tech last year
