I've got 22000 on mine.

1 clip broken on power module in kansas, ran until it got back to SC. towed to a dealer in Conway sc

2 muffler fell off 3x dealer spot welded

3 water leak at third brakelight

4 lights dim on starts, cold or hot. Dealer said battery bolt, not fixed.

5 second trip dealer ordered an alternator - back-ordered.

6 today the check engine light came on.

will add to list as the story continues. Too bad the cummins comes with a dodge truck bolted to it.

Can ditto these comments...

2. Sirius radio cuts out... a lot (dealer says thats normal  )

**Unfortunately it's normal

3. Driver's seat rocks slightly upon acceleration (dealer says that the power seats do that)

**I took mine in as well for same issue, told it was normal and passenger seat does it as well. Can feel during aggressive stop and go.

6. Front speakers are already making bad popping noises (worse than how the Infinity system normally sounds)

**"Infinity upgrade" is a joke. 6x9's are paper full range wanna be's. Will blow them out if you like deep bass notes.

I sure would like to see how the muffler could fall off. Normally they are crimped so hard it takes cutting to get them off.

9200 miles of driving it like i stole it. tst has been on it since 1100 miles and have been running it on 6 /3 and 8/3. and i love this truck it really pulls good when you whined her up. only miner problems was recall for roll-over vents and recirc door broke

So far I have 23k on mine and it hasn't missed a beat. Ya the sirius antena on it sucks, my aftermarket antena on my jeep barely ever cuts out where the dodge does it alot. Considering the beating my truck takes its doing very well.

Got truck in October of 2005

06 4X4, dully, quad cab, G56 transmission

31,000 miles

Issues so far..... all covered under Warentee

turbo leaking oil.

Clutch, safty switch started acting up, replaced

Crank position sensor. CEL came on replaced

ECM Flashed for crank issue.

Front window or clearance light leak, didn't care just wanted the leak fixed.

Bat temp sensor has come and gone a few times

Truck for the most part, has been a great truck, with all the gizmos, sensors, ETC on this thing, it works well, no tow trucks yet, knock on wood, anyways I like the truck and use it all the time, would I do it again..... yep even with the issues, the bigest thing is finding a dealer that will support you, the guys I go to now seem to be helpfull and replaced the trubo with no issues. I was expecting a long process but it was painless. I suspect the turbo was a fluke thing, it leaked from one of the seals, but it still worked as turbos go's, it just leaked a little oil Oo.

About 80% of the miles are towing a heavy load,

Good luck and enjoy it, just find a service department thats worth a dam.

69,000 miles and no problems. Make sure the tsb for the turn/brake light for the trailer circut is done before leaving. It ups the amp load from 15 to 20.

30,000 and has not been back to a dealer. I too had the coolant leak... I gave the clamp a turn and it has not leaked since. The lights/electrical system dims for a few seconds upon startup---hot or cold--as well. I have not had any of the tsb's done and probably won't as the truck runs well. I did the roll over hose vent job on the fuel tank myself. I too would have gotten the auto had I known about the gearing of the G56 and driven it for awhile. Most of my trips are Highway, and the gearing is way too tall... . even when towing 10,000lbs. I avg. about 16mph overall. No real problems with the truck and I am very happy with it.

Any satellite radio will cut out if it is shielded from the satellite. Even a tree branch will cause it to cut out. It is just a fact of Sat radio. Stay in the open and it will work fine.

Cheers, Mike '06 Megacab with sat radio and all. love it!

My only problem is around the 9th of the month. Somehow my checking account takes a nose dive.

Anybody who complains about bad mileage needs to drive my 99 V10. Good truck, lousy MPG.

I purchased my 06 2500 last november. It had a build date of 10/05 so I know it was the Ugly Red Headed Stepchild hanging around the lot. The dealer let it go for 31,199 (43,700 MSRVP).

I was having some funky issues with my tow haul mode and the battery temp problem. Turned out to be a screwey ECM. Fixed under warrenty. Now the trucks operates fine. Funny thing was before the ECM replacement, I was getting 13. 2 MPG average. After the ECM replacement 16. 4. Go figure.

Right at 10k and no problems here! :) Well if ya count my passenger mirror not tilting one way a problem. Very happy with my 06!! :) TST went on at about 9K.

'06 4X4 Ext. Cab Dually stock. 12K No problems. Last truck was '02 2500, some mods, 15mpg with camper, 19. 5-21 empty. '06 gets 11. 5-12 with camper and 16-18 empty. (hand calc. ) Love the '06 for quiet power. :D

I got over 20 mpg on the 01 before trade in Driving around town at sea level and running up to 7444 at Big Bear Lake and the aftermarket XM almost never cut out. Replaced lift pump and oil presser sender plus 3 transmission fixes when new.

2006 4x4 just over 10k getting 16 mpg over head 4 more (very optimistic) I don’t expect the mileage to come up till about 40k. Love the new power. Sirius antenna sucks. The check engine light has come on twice 1st time about 1 mile from dealer nothing wrong! 2nd time went off after 2nd start? For mountain driving I would like to see the factory Jake brake to slow more and below 20 mph but I really like it wish I had one on the 02.

My only real complaint is the A pillar is to big and why will dodge not offer an automatic climate control in a Ram?

I understant that xm is much better reception through mountains and underpasses etc, maybe not an antenna issue but the system itself. There is a flash to get rid of your erroneous code... .....

Agreed. I lose reception on my Sirius system several times on my short 23 mile drive to work. Most of the reception problems aren't even related to any blockages! There's nothing around!

Also, I think, based on my experience in my Honda Accord with its OE XM, that XM has a buffer so freeway over-passes go unnoticed.

True climate control in a $40k+ truck? Are you kidding? That's high-tech stuff! Do you think it's a Honda? (My Accord has seperate right and left climate controls - love it!)
