A freind of mine has a 03 ford with a 6. 0 that has lost the headgaskets again. It now has 112K on it and the dealer will not warrantee anymore. Ive seen studs available but do they actually fix the problem or is it just a bandaid.

Also does anybody know if their is a cummins swap availible?

Don't know if there is a commercially available Cummins swap for an 03 Ford, but my Amsoil dealer here in CT put a 5. 9CTD in his mid-late 90's Ford and it works great. He's a machinist and has all sorts of metal working machines at home, so I'm sure it's a custom job. I know he used to be a member here and may still be, but I can't remember his screen name. Perhaps you can look him up somewhere else by his real name. John Strenkowski in Lebanon, CT. He and his wife Virginia will probably be willing to talk to you. Nice people and very knowledgable.

o-rings and studs should do the trick. Especially if the truck is stock otherwise. (might not even need the rings). You can thank IH for that sweet 4 bolt per cyl design.
