Talk about rationalization -

I know this topic has been around a few time's but I have to rehash it one more time. I was lurking over at TheDieselStop (I know, my first mistake) and I was reading the 6. 0 forums and all I can say is OMG. At least half of the threads on every page has to do with some problem or another.

Then, you have poor 7. 3 guy who post's concerns about the 6. 0 and whether it's advisable to purchase one and some pathetic 6. 0 dude who's looking for company in the misery pool tell's him that "only some of the 6. 0's are having problems but most are OK". That's just crazy. Their crazy. Hell, I'm crazy for even reading about their woe's.

I know our trucks have had a couple of issue's like vibrations, drone (which the Ford has also), early trucks with low diff fluid, and a few other issue's but nothing like Ford.

Finally, to compound matters half of those ding-dong's will still bash on the Dodge name while their pile is being towed to the Dealer for the 5th time.

I've been lurking over there too. Half the time I just shake my head when I read the posts. thedieselstop.com is a lot like Jerry Springer: more matter how bad you are feeling, you can always watch those people and feel better about being you!:D

I do find it interesting and amusing when jarsong posts a sane and rational point of view, and they blow it off just because there isn't a F*rd in his signature!

There is a guy over there that had something like 20 miles on the truck when it first stalled! After numerous stalls and a couple trips to the dealer, they find a wire that is rubbing on the valve cover. Apparently quality isn't job #1 anymore.

There are a lot of posts from guys that just aren't sure of their trucks. Why pay $40,000 for something you have no confidence in?!?

I call it non emotional posts... . It's an intersting mix. I mean you have people that truly were dooped by Ford. Meaning they decided to buy a truck, innocently picked the Ford and now have a 40K mess on their hand. I feel so sorry those people. Could you imagine the feeling?

OTOH, the other dipsticks that are on their third/fourth go around, even after trading their cackling 7. 3L that Ford left them to the wolves on, they sort of get what's coming to them. The ONLY way Ford will get the issue's fixed once and for all is if there is a mass boycott on their product. The new 325/600 Cummins just might start that movement. After many long trips now with people many of people that I personally know that drive Ford Diesels are now taking a second look at the Dodge. They see what it can do, it is an awesome machine. I own two Fords and one Dodge.

If only Dodge would make the correct cabs... . It is a huge stickler for a lot of people. If I was in the market for a new truck, I know that would influence my decision. Of course, all I would do is b*tch about to the sales guy as I signed my life away for a Cummins 600!:D

Now-now jarsong you know you are just a troll and a trouble maker ;) :D . I like how most of those guys swear the 04/04's will be perfect. I think I just read a post where a guy is having injector problems with the new engine too, also oil leaks and wiring hanesses chafing(there is no excuse for that, just bad Q/C)but it's still the best truck out there,I swear:rolleyes:  ... Why is it that whenever I click on a post about a Ford 6. 0, my computer starts running slower, makes all kinds of noise, shuts down with no notice, and leaks all over my desk?

Other than that, this is the best computer I have ever had, and I will certainly replace it with the same model if I can get Dell to take it back under the lemon law.
