ford f350 4x4 shifter problem 5.9/zfspeed/manual t-case

What are you guys doing for the 4x4 shifter we have a 97 cab w/3inch body lift with a 5. 9 5speed zf and manual t-case the shifter is around 3 1/2'' back from the center of the hole. We are running into a problem w/shifter throw with a 3'' extention on the lever the shifter hits the floor and is hard to pull back into 4 low. So how are you guys fixing yours????

had a problem like yours on ford and had fab. a new mount to raise the shifter piviot to match the body lift. you may have to adjust the length on the linkage to the transfercase to correct the geometry.
