Chrysler post gaind Ford and GM down big

"We have a lot of arrows in our quiver," he said, adding that Ford's sales incentives were competitive.

Yea, right! That was in reference to the "new" sooper doodie! With a diesel reputation like they have going on with the 6. oooooooohhhhhhhh, alliances with International on shakey grounds AND a sinking light duty market, I don't see them being a big player anymore, except in the "cheap bid gets the sale" fleet/government market they always dominate.

If Dodge/Cummins can push up its release of the light duty diesels for the 1500's and offer the 4500/5500, I would imagine Dodge could pass ferd in truck sales, even without the "cheapest bid makes the sale" offering.

:-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf Gee, I would like to know were I can get this "fire sale" so when I pick up my new 3500 C&C I ordered it wont cost me 46K OTD before cost of the bed. The reason I like Dodge is the CTD, not some cheap sale (Please don't tell my dealer I would pay more. ) that will try to get my dollars and stick me with a constant reminder of why I should of bought quality instead of the monthly warranty Issue.

"We certainly don't think Ford has been defending the F-Series for the past several months," he said. "Now what does that mean? Does it mean advertising? Does it mean incentives? I don't really know, but I can tell you other Ford dealers that I talk to - and we're the No. 2 Ford dealer-- for us the F-Series is our lifeblood.

Novel idea. Try a reliable powertrain, and stand behind it if there are problems.
