How hard to get a part time business going?

Cat Vs. Ceiling Fan

I thought the Harley stickers in the rear window were a factory installed option on all Ford trucks :-laf Just get yourself a whole heap of those rainbow stickers and slap em on the offending truck :-laf We will start a whole new rumor :-laf

I think the Fords look good lifted, and at one time I liked trucks like that. Then I had one (Chevy) and saw that you don't hardly get back any of the money you spent when you go to sell it and much above 6" ain't real practical when your short (5'8"). Then again, I did have a good time with Dad putting the lift on in the driveway. To each their own I guess.

Yeah, I sung praises about my old Ford, but never claimed it to be a mini Peterbilt. I sung praises about other Fords before I saw the light!

I would still take a 6. 9, MAYBE a 7. 3, over a 6. 0. Notice I said take, not buy!

And yes, Scott can be made fun of, just as anyone else and their truck, but when it comes to put up or shut up, Scott can and will put up, as well as DOZENS of other Cummins! There are only a few Fords that can do the same.

Nick:

nobody is making fun of Scotty's Ghetto Wagon, he is a personal friend of mine and I give him crap about it every time I see the Weber BBQ Slow Cooker stacks he has in the bed of his truck.

You might like to go to

www.diesel-central.com/Video/Video.htm

and download the video from Shasta Raceway.

It takes a while to load, but watch Psycho's truck, there is also an old 6. 9 that took a few attempts to hook, but when it did finally hook, it couldn't be shut down!!!!!!

In all fair play, Scotty (BBD) did a pretty good job as well.

big jake

THE FORD GUY Oo. Oo. Oo.

Lol Jake! Never met Scott but I know he is a good guy and great puller. Barbeque stacks, ouch!

To each their own is probably the best way to put it regarding brands. I don't doubt the 6. 9 either. Mine was stock except for Banks turbo and it ran pretty well. I just got tired of the glow plug problem.

And Jake, obviously you aren't the normal TDS member if you have friends on TDR and come talk to lowly Cummins owners! Most guys on TDS wouldn't come here unless they were making money off us ;)

I spent some time at TDS, and most of those guys poked fun at Dodge owners for thinking they drove "little Peterbilts". I never understood that, because I see more tricked out Fords than I do anything else. I'm guessing they think that is some sort of an insult??? :-laf

Even if some of us Cummins drivers, think we're in little Peterbilts, that's better than the Ford and Chevy drivers that think they have medium duty diesels instead of light duty diesels. ;)

Ssshhhhh... . please don't tell my truck. It thinks its mother IS a Peterbilt 335 when it's hitched up to the 5th wheel! ;) :D :-laf

Uh, pretty sure the good doctor was joking... ... :)

Joke? Who, me? Everything I say is based on scientific research - like global warming and the shrinking of the antarctic continent. EVERYBODY knows Ford Owns Cummings. I think I might even have heard this on NPR or maybe it was Bill Moyers, can't remember. Oh, I forgot, Moyers is retired.
