True, but down in the idi section they're as nice and helpful as can be! Good bunch of guys.

Same with the guys in the '94/'97 PSD section. We have had a few of you IDI guy's move up and I think they feel right at home. After this week I think I might be booted out as I'm moving over here to the dark side.

Errrrr..... I 'm moving here from the dark side. Hopefully will be able to get my truck here this week!!

I had my son talked into buying a new Ram 3500 until he saw the mileage on them, and now he is looking at Fords. Good thing he is over 18 and living on his own.

I think some people like pain.

I always tell the Ford guys to tear off the blue oval and it should run better. :D

I road in a customer's new 6. 0 F350 last week. Nice interior and seemed smoother than the mighty Cummins but the turbo noise was ear piercing. His mileage was 12 in town 15 highway. Acceleration was fair but only when he was above 2000 RPM. I would not own one with a 6-speed, the torque converter was it's saving grace.

Just couldn't resist a comment re "those guys can be brutal" and act like children... ... ... ... ... .

Try opening up a discussion about automatic transmissions on this list and you will experience real brutality and immature behavior!!

KBennett, if you want to hear turbo whine you should hear mine :D Nothing finer than a turbo spooling up, you gotta love that sound :D And the PSD's are RPM happy. I just have to figure out how to make the new Dodge I'm getting have as much turbo sound as my Ford does.

And I'm not brand loyal, I used to be a Ch*** guy, :--) as long as my boat get's rocked I'm happy.

A friend of mine I haven't seen in 5 years came by with his new 6. 0,had 900 miles on it and I was very impressed with the power, and a very tight cab,the only problem I found some oil residue on his tailgate,I told him he might have a leak,I could not find one,but all in all it was a nice truck.

He cannot believe i bought anything but a Ford,I told him this is my 2nd Cummins and I love it:)

Don't get me wrong, I like the sound of a turbo. I just don't like the sound of a dentist drill. I have sensitive ears... the kind that let you run the sound board at a concert.
